Recent Achievements (District Medical Supervisor's Office)

The main goal of the Rajshahi Drug Administration Office is to ensure the proper use of manufacture, sale, distribution and logistic of mental, safe and effective medicines. Since the last year 2014, there have been established 1 Alopectic and 2 Ayurvedic Medicines Companies in the district. The establishment of one of the allopathic medicine institutes in the district has exported 69 types of medicines worth 4000 US Dollars to 4 goals. Model dealerships have been upgraded to Model Pharmacies and 9 Sales Representatives in 6 Sales Centers, and drug dealerships of Model Medicine Shop have been awarded to 50 new retailers. Besides, 372 retail / wholesale drug licenses have been provided. At this time, the office has received revenue of about 78 taka. Through the filing of 195 cases in the mobile court, about 11 targets have been fined Tk 50,000. In the last two years, 1775 licenses for renewal, 2750 drugmaking companies and GMP have been visited 147 times. For evaluation of the drug, 265 samples are collected from the market for the first test lab. 14 training / discussion meetings have been organized to enhance the capacity of the drug producing / selling company.
